Maf is just an input to add to the supercharger calculation. The calibration has a supercharger model built in it with a compressor map.

Spark is adjusted under higher loads at all rpms.

2 rpm choices.

Thanks for responding Dustin, and I'm looking forward to this go the upgrade before I sent my computer to you for reflash.

Question: I know you guys are working in including data logging features and capability with the flare tool. Will you incorporate the ability to log AIT post blower?

Just around the corner. Adding one more unique feature and then shipping.

Will it be something we just install online through the flare tool or will it be actual software that needs to get installed?

I bought my daily driven S550 back in July, knowing that im gonna put some kind of blower on it, and after 500 miles and 2 weeks of long research i decided to go with Roush's Phase 1 Supercharger Kit. I chose Roush because of their reputation, and also because of their partnership with Ford. I still am under full warranty (36k/3years) pushing 610 to the wheels on stock Roush tune that came with the kit (I noticed on other brands the tunes were not included, only parts) I considered Whipple because they do make insane power with them! But ive heard of a lot of problems that two of my good friends with Whipple supercharger have had, like broken gears twice, drive shaft as well and they're not even Drag racing. A blown bottom end in my one friends s550.. im over 9k and daily driving playing a lot and haven't had a single problem with my car! So my answer to your question is yes it makes a great daily! Especially with Roush's safe and effective tuning.
Just curious, but who's question are you answering?

I was thinking the same thing.

I will put $ that Whipple tunes are far safer than anyone's including Roush.

If these people are damaging their cars it's not because of the tune, it's the individuals driving.

The only fault you could blame on Whipple is making too much power lol.

Wow... I can't even.

Look, plenty of us have Whipple cars with more mileage on the odometer than you (to include myself), and many of us race these things as well (to include myself). None of us have problems. The Procharger guys don't have problems. The Kenne Bell guys don't have problems. The TVS/Roush guys don't have problems. If you are happy with your decision, then great, but I don't see how it has anything to do with the flight control software that Whipple is bringing out, unless you want to bring up the fact that Roush has nothing like it.

Your stuff reads like a commercial, man: "My friend's, girlfriend's, brother broke a half shaft with a Whipple...." C'mon seriously?

**Edit: Then I see you have one post and look at your screen name. You got me.... you got me."**

First, this not a Roush post.

Second, blown bottom ends? Are you kidding? Why have we never heard about it?

Third, why do you think the Roush is so special? There isn't one part to that equation that has been better designed, higher effectiveness then any part in our system. The list is so long I would take an hour comparing each part side by side. Intercooler, heat exchanger, SC, inlet, MAF, air filter, manifold, fuel rails, belt system, pulleys, calibration, flash tool, fuel injectors, fan control, IC pump control, flight control......

Fourth, why do you think 610rw on your Roush is more reliable then ours? They run virtually the same boost level. Our bigger intercoolers and heat exchangers hold the IAT2 temp lower at all boost levels (less chance for detonation). You have literally zero info on this. Just because you made a decision based off a name doesn't mean it's actually true.

Fifth, broken gears? Were your "friends" using a sledge hammer on the gears to make them louder? We don't break gears, that's just absolutely false.

Sixth, do you realize your "more reliable" cal is done by the same engineer? The difference is old vs new.

Seventh, you DO NOT have a "factory" warranty. I don't know why everyone thinks this. Your factory warranty, per Ford Motor Company is in fact void. While a dealership may sneak one past Ford when there is an issue, you do not have a factory warranty no matter how close you think Roush and Ford is. Roush offers a supplemental warranty, just as we do for 3/36,000. Roush offers this for $995 and is supplemental.

Eighth, Cobra Jet, Drag Pak, COPO all use the same parts each customer gets, while these failures of your "friends" weren't even "racing", why do they all live in the "racing"? Do you think somehow, Ford, Mopar, Chevrolet would put there name on a product that won't work or will fail? If they had a cheaper option to put the Roush or the other factory Eaton applications on, why didn't they? They just like to spend extra money maybe?:headbonk:

Ninth, why is our kit that makes to the RW what Roush makes to the flywheel emissions legal while to get anything even close to the power we offer, you have to go the phase 2 non-emissions, no powertrain warranty system that still has 47lb fuel injectors running 100% DC? What happens when the temp drops on that and density increases? Oh no... fuel is out. What about when the pump degrades even half the factory built in factor? :eyebulge::eyebulge::eyebulge::eyebulge:

Because you made your decision and are happy with it is great, but this is a product release announcement and I think very few care about "your friends" alleged issues. Were happy making to the RW what others make at the flywheel and will continue to reshape the Mustang supercharger market while others try to keep up. Good luck with your "factory warranty".

You hit it on the head, too funny. :D

LMAO, that post screamed "Kyle....Billet fuel rails are not good because they're porous" LMAO:lol: That one is blown up and on our engineering wall as an all time stupidest things said!

1 post, geez......
