I went to go install my Whipple gen 4 upgrade and noticed coolant at bottom of driver side intake. I am assuming it’s the manifold gaskets. Can I pull the lower intake with fuel rails intact? Do I have to have to remove the billet idler plate? I though it was going to be simple but nothing ever is.

manifold gaskets wouldn't cause a coolant leak check the hose that connects to the top nipple of the coolant elbow mine had a leak there from a clamp that wasn't strong enough

Thanks for the help. I think it’s coming from the housing under the nipple. Do you think by make sure it’s tight it should be good?

Change out that clamp on the nipple with a better one that's the style of clamp that leaked on mine. after you do that clean the coolant off and see if the mess comes back.

I had the same problem. The supplied clamp isn't a proper fit and allows a leak at that nipple.

Replace the clamp with a better one like said above, good to go for almost 9k miles and 2 years here. I had to do the same with the Degas bottle end of the hose as well.

So I got my supercharger off and I can see where I am leaking. Is there a gasket under this?

Replace the gasket or housing also? I only have 13k miles on my car.

Anyone know if there is a certain torque spec for the coolant outlet in pic above?
