I had a Whipple 2.9L installed with a 10-Rib Upgrade Stock Diameter Balancer on my 2015 coyote. I have had it for about a month and a half now. Within the last week, I have developed this horrible squeaking, like the 10-Rib was out of alinement. But the funny thing is when the car warms up, the nose goes away most of the times, or is significantly gets quieter. I went to JBA performance shop to day. Great guys, by the way.

JBA did a Dyno for me and then looked the car over. They told me the 10-rib was out alignment by one rib. They adjusted it and it was fine. I drive home. Lay down for a few hours before going to work (working nights) and I get up to go to work. The squeak is there again. JBA is going to call me tomorrow with someone to help me, but I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue, and how it was corrected.

Thanks

I had the same issue and the culprit was the tensioner pulley was installed backwards. They are designed to go on only one way. Whipple reinstalled mine the correct way and squeak has gone away. Its been about 3 weeks and still no squeak. They might be able to send you a photo showing correct way it should look installed?

Some have also turned belt around to fix issue.

Correct. I turned my belt around which worked for about a week then the squeak returned. Also installed new belt which worked for about a week also before the squeak returned. I would verify tensioner pulley installed correctly first then try to turn belt around. If the pulley is installed backwards no matter what you do to the belt the squeak will return. I'm sure Whipple will get it resolved for you they are awesome.

ETCH Glad Whipple was able to confirm the issue for you. Once my tensioner pulley was reinstalled correctly the squeak went away and has stayed away ever since. I agree Whipple's customer service is bad ass

So are you guys referring to the spring loaded tensioner on passenger side of engine or the slide tensioner on the lower driver side near the alternator? I imagine you mean the spring loaded tensioner but I just want to confirm.

I had the dreaded squeak but after I installed the updated pulley bracket feet it went away.

Yes, top notch customer service by everyone at Whipple :)
