Must be a stingy dyno. Thinking over 700 with headers. You weren't pulling timing with the knock control on?
I'm thinking that it is because he has an auto. I can't wait to see what he does at the track.

Abs fuse was pulled. Nothing pulling timing. Must be a stingy dyno, or others are generous. I know auto is 5-10% less, but if someone else running the same got 694 with a Whipple tune, that's a nice difference. Did that car run at the track? Although dyno guy said Flowmaster kill power. I have pypes headers, off road pipes, stock res, and Flowmaster axle back.

There is nothing to change in the Whipple tune right? I loaded it three days ago, and did not touch anything. So default tune settings.

Could exhaust make a 30hp difference between my car and V8venom's? Or can one dynojet be that much different than another? I see he has an h pipe, I have stock res in place. Other than that, our axle back is different.

Taking off the Flowmasters and switching out to Magnaflows was worth 36rwhp on my Incon Twin turbo 95 GT. All done the same day on the dyno, only changes made were swapping mufflers. Chambered mufflers are horrible for boosted cars...

Anything that I can switch to that has a deep sound? Funny the guy at the dyno said the same exact thing! I did not believe him. He said he took Flowmaster off, and put MagnaFlow on and gained 40 whp! I like the deep sound. I am not a fan at all of that tinny sound. I know a ton of people have it. Any suggestions at all to stay deep toned? Also, can I just swap the mufflers? I bought Flowmaster axle back. Thanks guys!

The Magnaflow is deep sounding. It depends....you can hack up the Axleback and just weld new mufflers in or sell it and buy a different Axleback. I would have a quality exhaust shop splice new mufflers in.

I lost 8-12rwhp on a tune only car with a junk muffler setup. On boosted it is really detrimental to power.

it like it's stolen
Get rid of that Flowmaster set up and get that HP back. I'd run the Borla S-type or the Corsa Sports both offer less drone with LTH on the car and with a straight through design it's the way to go...

I have the Solo Performance Mach Thunder exhaust. Full 3" exhaust, and sounds bad ass. Very deep sound. Pretty quiet when you want it to be, but when u get on it, it sounds mean. Also, Not to mention, pretty nice price. I wouldn't worry about dyno numbers. They are a crap shoot. Different dyno's will yield drastically different results. So don't read into that mush at all. The track will tell you what you got :)

Ok so I just have to find the mufflers only now. I don't want to waste what i have. The mufflers are the issue. I will have the new ones welded in.
