Scheduled time to have three dyno pulls on my Stage 2 Whipple car tonight. I was VERY happy with the results. Before I get into them, let me tell you a bit about the car.
The engine is stock except for OPG and TG. The exhaust is stock except for an X-pipe. The Whipple setup is as it came except for a 3.625" pulley.
First I topped the tank off with 100 octane gas.
On the first pull, the tires started slipping and we only ran it to 7000 RPM. Result: 659 hp, 487 tq. Thinking the heated tires would grip better, we did a back to back run with no cool down. Result: 656 hp/510 tq.
Then we let the car cool for about 20 minutes with the monster fan running. I told the operator to run it all the way to 7500 RPM and roll into it so the tires wouldn't break. Result: a whopping 693 hp/512 tq. Needless to say, I'm VERY pleased with those numbers, especially considering I have no other significant mods. This was also using the stock Whipple tune.
