I have the Solo Performance Mach Thunder exhaust. Full 3" exhaust, and sounds bad ass. Very deep sound. Pretty quiet when you want it to be, but when u get on it, it sounds mean. Also, Not to mention, pretty nice price. I wouldn't worry about dyno numbers. They are a crap shoot. Different dyno's will yield drastically different results. So don't read into that mush at all. The track will tell you what you got :)
Honestly, the drone was starting to get to me. And then two separate people told me the same exact thing about Flowmaster to MagnaFlow rwhp. Both stated that was the only change made. The guy I was with yesterday was definitely a major builder too. Just can tell he really knew his stuff. Clean shop, all mustangs and Mustang drag cars in there. He was an honest guy. He don't even sell stuff like that so no gain to be made by him. The drone I have just makes it a no Brainer. That and leaving possible 25-40hp on the Table. Lol

You are losing HP with that resonator too. Get an X or H pipe and pick up a few :)

It's already louder than I wanted it. I will see how the mufflers work out first. I guess I can go to an h eventually if needed.

If you're looking for every little ounce of horsepower go with an X over and H. Course the rasp might not be your thing.

Defitnely not into the rasp. That's why I mentioned h. I may just get the h now and deal with it. Do you all think the h will make it much louder than what I have with the stock res?

Help me out guys. This is what I have:
Pypes 2015 Mustang Headers with Offroad Leads - Factory Connect
• Flowmaster Axle Back 817710

How can I salvage some here. Initially I wanted to grab an h pipe(don't like rasp of x), and MagnaFlow mufflers only to put in place of the Flowmasters. Right now I have drone, and am hoping to help with that, and get my power back.... However, am I leaving too much on the table with the overall size of exhaust I will have???? Trying not to totally waste what i bought already for the car and use it. But if drone and Power loss will still be horrible, I may have to rethinkthink this. Thanks!

How about a Kooks H-pipe catback, full 3in and should sound pretty deep.

I liked the sound of the MagnaFlow. It seemed deep. But that route, would make me waste all that I have now..... I mean if I am leaving too much on the table, I will take that route.... I guess I can try to sell my Flowmaster axle back....

He also stopped at 7,200 rpm on my pull too.
Seems like such a high number. Numbers. I see in manuals. Another 300 rpm would be even higher. I can't imagine exhaust can mean that much. What exhaust do you have?

Taking off the Flowmasters and switching out to Magnaflows was worth 36rwhp on my Incon Twin turbo 95 GT. All done the same day on the dyno, only changes made were swapping mufflers. Chambered mufflers are horrible for boosted cars...
Doesn't exhaust make a much bigger difference in a tt csr vs SC?

I have Axelbacks and a resonator delete. I thought I read someone saying there's a 30-40hp difference with that and you wouldn't even see close to that with catbacks. Now headers sure. And my numbers are fairly on par with what I've seen. All dynos are different too, it's just a number.

Yeah, I have some drone too. I will be changing it up. Also I am catless*so I had high expectations I guess. Most are saying that keeping the factory resonator, and the Flowmasters are likely killing me. Crazy how we start off small, and then change up the whole car! Your car looks amazing by the way. Very tastefully done.

Thanks man I appreciate it! The resonator for sure is killing you. What numbers did you put down? Sorry if I missed that part. SAE or STD?
