I'm going to be installing a whipple gen 2 and OPG and CSS at the same time. I know the whipple kit comes with many gaskets, but does it come with all the gaskets I will need to complete the OPGs and CSS at the same time with out buying extra. I know I'm going to need the TA-30 silicone at least but what else. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

The Whipple kit doesn’t come with many gaskets at all. The only ones I can think of are the intake runner gaskets for the intercooler. You will reuse all of your stock gaskets those being front engine cover and valve covers. O-rings such as oil pick up tube and thermostat housing will also most likely be reused. The gaskets are a strong rubber compound and take your time pulling them away especially at the locations the silicone is used.

All you need is the ta-30 and it's kind of a waste, because you are going to use literally 6 dabs. And then you have 99.9% of the tube left. Lol. All the gaskets can be reused. The factory service manual says to thrown them all away, but that's crap. They are super heavy duty rubber. Plus that front timing chain cover isn't under any kind of pressure. Just oil splashing around headed back to oil pan. O-ring on the water pump will be fine, just lube it with a little fluid and work it back into housing.

Agreed. I just completed a stage 2 whipple install with opg and crank gear. All the gaskets are reusable. But you will need a new crank bolt.

Agree with the other guys, Did my OPGs many moons ago and reused gaskets no problem. Zero leaks or issues. Ive done 3 other OPG installs for people the same way with no issues. Like CrackerJack said, the TA30 is pricey and you use almost none of it but I followed the service manual on where to put it (6 spots for timing cover and then the harmonic balancer key-way) and zero issues on multiple install.

Because when you do an opg/cg install you have to remove the damper and that bolt is a torque to yield bolt which must be replaced.
I know the ARP bolt is fancy but.... I've seen people having it back out and have read about it too. I have done all my OPG installs for people with the OEM Torque to yield bolt following the ford documentation with ZERO issues.

I would never re-use a crank bolt if it's TTY on a performance engine. Especially not if you are using that crank bolt to hold in a pulley that will spin a blower... While the engine goes up over 7k rpm.

Gaskets are one thing but crank bolts are another. All to save how much? Really how much money are you going to save by re-using the crank bolt? And risk it coming loose? LMAO

Nobody said i reused the bolt. I bought new TTY bolts. They are like 7 dollars.
