Which hood struts?

MRT Hood Struts fron North Coast Performance US

Besides the legal aspect on fitting struts and now must reconsider this option, I purchased the new MRT struts and attempted to fit them, no drilling at all and no need to worry about the battery cover. After fitting these struts the bonnet felt like it didn't want to close it was like the hood was springing back like something was stopping it, I didn't try closing the hood completely in case I caused damage. Noticed the hood brackets were moving, only held on with 1 bolt. purchased from North Coast Performance US, I don't recommend them at all, they were no help at all and didn't seem to care, disappointing, any experiences out there?

My daughter and I just installed Redlines on her car last night in about 30 minutes taking our time. Fits great and looks sooooo much better with the hood up. Not to mention safer/more convenient when working under there.
