how is the 3c on the street. I have been contemplating a converter but not sure if it would really help on the streets of mexico from a roll... not too worried about cutting a tenth or two on my time right now, just stomping the local hellcat crowd. Would it really be worth it?

imo a pd blower doesnt need a converter but if doing one id get the one with the smallest stall....i have a 3c now but ran a 2c in my 2013 paxton car it worked incredibly well.....i went with the 3c this time simply because it was what beef and chris suggested would work all round for street and strip and i have cut a 1.33 60 with the 3c on 17" drag radials and stock halfshafts...i know lidio mentioned he sent his stock one out and had it loosened as much as it could be and its onlly 3-400 rpm, not sure if he still runs it or not but i know he has hung his front 20" wheels about a foot in the air on his 2011 gt....he was running a tvs setup and has now moved to a 2.9 whipple think he has gone 9.13 at 153

I just ordered a 258 3B during Beef's Christmas sell. I have twins and from what I've researched I made the right choice but we'll see! Lol

I have a Whipple A6 with 3.55 gears pullied for 15-16 lbs. going to be on the dyno here in the next month or so, and am wondering what converter would be ideal for my car. I run the car on a 20" drag radial with all BMR suspension components in the IRS. Shooting for mid 9's on the 20" drag radial...

2 or 3b 258 mm is what you'll want,

I ordered 6R80 Pro Series Stage III 258mm 2C back in September based off of Brian's recommendations as well as Ken B's recommendation.

Big pulley (haven't ran) is 14-15lb, little pulley is ~18lb.

If I can sort out the rear shocks, I think it's got a low 1.4x 60' in it.

Converter completely changed the characteristics of the car and it's the best thing I ever bought.
