Terry.. so for a daily driven,limited track car with a KB 3.2 apr 750 whp which converter then..or possibly no upgrade? trying to understand when to or not to..and why?!?!

you could do a 2b or 2c, 258mm.

either would be fine, if your very limited track, i would probably go with the 3c, if your tracking alot, 2b

Awesome info Terry, 2b was my second choice. But would a 3b be better for whipples torque curve? The car is not a DD its a weekend Dig/Quarter car. But I do want drivable street manners, aka drivability.

2c in my 2013 9.1 paxton car and now running 3c in my 2015 JT trim car...was impressed with both no complaints with either. ive seen tons of pd guys not do a converter at all with alot of success, not sure what id put in if i had a pd setup.

I emailed Circle D with a similar question. I asked what was recommended for a non daily driver, occasional track use, and mostly trips and weekend cruising. The recommendation was, if drivability was any concern at all to stick with the stock one.

A 2B or 3B would be the way to go.. If you have the suspension dialed in and your car hooks with the factory converter.. You WILL SEE about .2 off your time.. Taking into account your car is already cutting 1.59 and hooking, you should get to a 1.37.. With a mild stall like the 2B you will hardly tell a difference in normal driving conditions..
