Im in the middle of removing my engine to tare down due to metal in the oil. Yes its my fault because i hooked up the damn oil cooler lines backwards and had no oil pressure. I quickly figured it out and fixed the issue but it was too late :( Im not sure what bearing brand and style to go with. Im turbo now and make around 650 to the tire on 8psi. Street strip car and heavily spirited driving lol

I plan on running a stock crank on the rebuild and so far i have been told to run clevite h series bearings?

Any thoughts

Fyi: i might sell my custom turbo setup , not sure yet. Ive always had vortech and the thought is killing me to try it.

Why does ford show bearing grades ? Are these for oversizes?

yes and no. the bearing grades are so you can mix and match them to get the sizes you need. (assuming you are referring to a,b,c grades) a's are thinner. so you can for example ues a a lower and a c upper or something like that to gain the clearance you need. you don't have to do that really with kings cause of there supper tight tolerance. you do have to mix and match them sometimes go get the clearance where it needs to be. for example take the lower from 5 and make it the lower of 1 or something like that.
hope that makes sense

We keep the Clevites in stock, they are by far the most consistent bearings and best fitting in the journals. They are available in the std series and the race series (H), we suggest the H series for above 1000HP. Clevite bearings are used in all MMR engines including our world record holding 3100HP coyote engine. Please see the links below to purchase:

Thank you, would you recomend a stock crank for my power level or a boss ? Also if i go boss i need to balance the assembly so i might as well do rods and pistons right

All 5.0 Coyote/BOSS cranks are the same, the Boss has a unique part# simply because it is balanced to a different weight rod/piston. If you use a boss crank with a stock GT rod and piston it will need to be rebalanced which varies in price from $100-350. We keep the Boss cranks in stock also and can balance it for you prior to shipping.
