Stock cats are insanely fragile, I blew mine naturally aspirated.Did you fry a cat because you were getting on it a lot into boost? Normal driving and only getting into boost once in a while shouldn’t kill a cat.
I went with LTH, American Made with Titan finish.Hey Doug, ty 4 reply. What brand did you go with??
Are you running a Whipple tune?I went with LTH, American Made with Titan finish.
Thanks dude. Which headers do you have?Get with Terry over at Beefcake. He or his guys will get you a really good price on some great headers.

Hey, ty 4 reply! 1000% they suck, i didnt even beat on car for months, my problem is not enough open road around here, so im stop and go which is irritating...... If i can extend the warranty on car, i could care less.. But if i cant, i have to step up with easier accessible cats to swap new ones on and off if they blow. the stock cats are a bitch to remove, Ya know.Stock cats are insanely fragile, I blew mine naturally aspirated.
another user here had experimented with GT500 cats and found good success, but it was hardly a bolt-on mod and required lots of custom fab. Those have a stronger substrate and can hold up to more abuse.Hey, ty 4 reply! 1000% they suck, i didnt even beat on car for months, my problem is not enough open road around here, so im stop and go which is irritating...... Thanks Anthony
Yeah, that is engineermike w GT500 cats, very helpful guy! but just overwhelming amount of fabbing and modwork. Im waiting on some 500 cats, but dealing with flakey people suck!! So im always onto the next plan, back up plan.another user here had experimented with GT500 cats and found good success, but it was hardly a bolt-on mod and required lots of custom fab. I have Kooks 1 7/8" and like them the fitment is perfect and they don't hit the A/C lines. I have Greencats but they do still set the check engine light so you'd need a non-fouler to prevent that.
