do yourself a favor and try another tire. You deserve it!

555G2 suck, but the wheel companies must get a great markup on them. Don’t get suckered!
Amen, friends don’t let friends drive on Nittos 😂. Seriously though, Continental and Michelin are far better tires.

its a disease. There are worse diseases, but still.

i don’t even care if somebody buys a worse cheaper tire than Nittos,, just please break the cycle of abuse.

or sell the Mustang, thats another option.

Nittos are why mustangs have a bad reputation with hitting pedestrians at cars and coffee events.

Im going with APEX VS-5RSa 18x12 in the back and I’m going to go with a 325/40 more then likely an M&H.

Nitto may not be the tire of choice for some people and I get that. But blaming them for crashing at cars and coffee and other events? Come on man, seriously. That is 100% the driver's fault, not the tires. Some people try to show off and can't handle the power of their car, or they simply don't know how to drive, plain and simple.

All this roasting on Nitto 🤣
Makes some sense--I never felt they really performed up to their price point. I was about to pull the trigger for a set of NT555 G2's for 305's, but decided to go as cheap as possible--Petlas tires...

Low and behold, these tires were the best I have ever felt... really quiet, soft, but also grips harder than a... well, something grippy. They performed way better than the previous G2's. Managed to get 0.90 lateral g's, and the tires didn't even squeak.

To be honest, for normal driving they are fine. I am guessing the ones speaking negatively (including me), are referring to needing them to hook from the dig. Being supercharged, I can get almost any tire to spin itself to death. High rpm shifts through 4th are a spin affair with many tires. I do run them on the front and they do what they are supposed to do, when matched with the 555rii. I won't knock them as an everyday, normal driving tire.

Well, here they are. Even though you guys don't like them, they achieved the look I was going for 100%. 255/45/18 up front and 295/45/18 on the rear. Fitment is perfect on the D5s with no poke at all. Everything sits flush.

There is nothing wrong with being different. I think they go well with the color of your car. But hey, I've been known not to follow the pack.
