Currently have 15 Mustang GT with premier package non performance package.
Looking to upgrade wheel and tires, especially going wider in the rear, and its stock height and will not be lowered since I bottom out at stock height now once in awhile. Looking for recommendations on what's the best fitment wheel and tire. Thanks for your help

Hi i saw your post surprised one of the sponsers haven't chimed in. My best advised check out the wheel spec link first and then gibe tirerack.com a ring or
one of the sponsers here.

Since you're not lowering, I wouldn't worry too much about "best."

Go pick out some wheels on a site that allows you to select your make/model/year/trim to filter results and pick some wheels you like. The good sites will give you configuration options for the wheel you select based on availability and fitment. For example setting your car specifics and selecting a wheel from:

http://n4sm.com/products/wheels

and clicking "configure and add to car" will allow you to pick what size you want for front and back. I believe they only show what will fit your particular car on the drop-down menus.

After you pick your wheels, select your tires based on that. On the site above, for example, you have a button to "select tires" that will automatically show tires that will fit your wheel selection.

The only other things you really need to consider are TPMS and the front hub dust cover that sticks out pretty far, sometimes requiring a spacer to clear. The customer service at your site of choice can help you with that.

To initially start off there is a good amount of selections. What is needed is to know the style your after maybe a budget you have and what your looking to achieve with the setup.

This is kind of a fitment topic, so I also had a quick question. Apologies if it should be in a different thread.

I have a premium GT with the 50 yrs AP nickel wheels (19" x 8.5"), with the stock Pirelli 255/40/19 tires. When the time comes to replace that rubber, will a 265 or 275 width fit those factory wheels? No plans to replace the rims, just interested in a bit wider contact surface and a less flush-to-wheel look.

Any info is appreciated.
