Yeah, no offense, but this just seems dumb to take that chance. Penny wise; pound foolish.
But then again, we all shouldn't be so harsh on you. You don't know which is why you are asking.
Like some have said, this is likely your issue.
If these are cold PSI’s that you posted, then that is definitely way too high since by the time they get up to temp they’ll be at 43-44 (front) 41-42 (rear)
Even if those were operating pressures, that would still be too high.
No doubt the stock...
Good that you caught it early. You shouldn’t have any more problems, especially with the heavy oil
Like you said, good that it didn’t get to the cables. That happened to my daily driven 2001 Escape. Had to replace all that crap.
No after pictures?! Unacceptable, lol. I like seeing clean/polished
Seriously though, I’m gonna check mine tonight. Mine is garage kept and stored in the winter so doubtful but doesn’t hurt to peak
Tried it. Didn’t work unfortunately. Light came back on right away.
Surprised no one else has chimed in. Help a fella out, guys. Need to figure this out
That’s what I was thinking! I’ve had the battery for more than a year now and haven’t had problems with it but have heard of others that have. Hope that isn’t the case that it messed something up.
I’ll try your advice and try to clear it then drive it again.
Charged the battery and started the car after not driving it for about a month and a half and the check engine light was on was illuminated for the first time ever. Figured it was because the battery was dead (AntiGravity lithium) and maybe the car lost some parameters so drove it around for...
It finally happened. The dreaded check engine light came on at only a little over 13,000 miles.
Anyway, don't want anyone working on my car so need to diagnose this issue but first need an OBD II scanner/reader. Any suggestions on a good one that you guys use/like? I'm alright spending money...
Hey fellas,
I'm in the process of getting a new rear bumper cover painted (switching from the base model to the premium 2-piece one) and want to provide the body shop with a sample of the existing body work so they can match up the paint as close as possible.
Figured that the gas door would...
Oooo, awesome! I’ll call them tomorrow and get exact details 👍 Thanks again for all the info bud
By the way, when I call, should I really tell them Coosawjack sent me, lol? Or were you just joking, haha?
lol, sorry. Complete answer: The old style filter was just about the same price. Like I said though, I’d have to find both sets of receipts to verify.
