I use Rock Auto for my ford brand TPMS sensors. No hassle. They have always worked well for me.

And I used them for a non-Ford sensor that worked fine.I use Rock Auto for my ford brand TPMS sensors. No hassle. They have always worked well for me.
Ahh man. Sorry to hear that. My tire shop must have programmed mine for me. Did the tire shop not have a EZ Pad or some other tool for Schrader? Did you ask? Schrader is pretty common, surprised they couldn’t do it.So I just put Schrader 33560 TPMS (from Amazon) in the new tires on our Explorer. The Ford dealer thought they were plain valve stems with no sensors. I talked to Schrader tech support, who said they have to be programmed for the 315MHz frequency and then the car procedure followed to detect them.
Will the Ford dealer have to have special tools for these sensors, i.e. different from the little DIY "fob"?
Kinda wishing I had bought sensors that were preprogrammed now.
Discount Tire is who I used.Wife drove from tire shop straight to the dealer for an exhaust recall, so we figured we would just have them do it.
I plan to go back to Discount and ask what they can or will do for us. Belle Tire if no love next.
discount likely just forgot to do the programming.
agreed Craig Brown. this is part of what's wrong with society today. lazy people and no accountability for it. I see it everywhere in all facets of my day to day.If you have a tire shop i don't want them forgetting anything.
Stuff happens, nobody is perfect. You all still dropping in here like whiny little girls. Mistakes are annoying, but as long its not repetitive then I'm ok with it. I've made my share of mistakes.agreed Craig Brown. this is part of what's wrong with society today. lazy people and no accountability for it. I see it everywhere in all facets of my day to day.
