Wife drove from tire shop straight to the dealer for an exhaust recall, so we figured we would just have them do it.

I plan to go back to Discount and ask what they can or will do for us. Belle Tire if no love next.
Not trying to be a douche, but yall never said that you told DT to not program them.

But its great to hear the dealership is going to hook you guys up with programming and replacing one of thetire sensors?

That doesn't seem bad at all. Im currently using a Ford Explorer and need a tpms sensor replaced as it has failed, and another one on the wheels im currently using that failed and are getting replaced.

What kind of warranty do they give for the sensors? Im asking because I had 3 replaced on my wi ter car and the same failed 3 times at a cost of $60 because electronics and their "warranty".

EDIT :: Reason i ask is i found the shop that does my i sections said they offer a 2 to 3 year warranty on the sensors.

Guys, as I said in post# 20 she told Discount Tire that they didn't need to program them because she was going to the Ford dealer next. So no negligence on DT part.

We are here now and one of the 3 new sensors will not program. So they will replace it with the fourth one from the new batch of four. (We already have a working sensor at the RR wheel.) Then they will relearn the car to all four wheels.
Ahhh, that's cool.

This is what I ordered in 2024. Worked immediately. Should have just ordered more of these.

Also note that the Schrader 33560 TPMS was recommended on another thread. But I don't recommend them only because of the extra programming needed.

The reason the LR wheel wouldn't program is because yesterday's tech installed some other sensor instead of the brand new Schrader I gave them! So they exchanged with the 4th new one, but they couldn't find my other new one. So we paid for four but only ended up with three. I pointed this out and he paid us $25 cash to reimburse me.

Now we have been detailing the car a little at home and I notice a scratch on the face of the RF wheel and a gouge in the rim edge!

Back to Discount for the 3rd time. They have really let us down this time.

Now that would get annoying. I've had good luck with Discount, hopefully that continues.
