Another  for M‑1180‑B; it's the kit I have installed. All four wheels synch'd up in the first 1/4 mile of driving. While the sync tool is part of this kit, you should not need it. Once they sensors are spinning and active, they'll automatically pair with the car.

When dealing with electronics, I prefer OEM.

I'd stay away from eBay. TPMS sensors have batteries, which will naturally degrade over time. A great deal on eBay could be a set that's old stock from somewhere else. Or the units could be counterfeit.

National tire chains might offer a house or big brand of sensor, which could be fine; their stock should turnover often.

If you've got wheels, tires and sensors, check out a local detailing shop with a good rep. Many do tire and wheel work and often take better care of the products when installing and balancing. Consider getting the rims ceramic coated; this will help with cleaning.

The majority of TPMS-related fail threads have involved "deals", off-brand units or parts dug out from the back at a tuner shop. While the drivers were ultimately sorted, getting there, checking this, that and wondering "WTF?", was both frustrating and time wasted.

I got the FP ones, from LMR.com. A bit cheaper too than buying from a dealer.

I used the Schrader 33560. No issues, no programming required. Installed, worked.

I did this. no syncing and no issues so far. I researched this to death before pulling the trigger and it really seems to me that most are coming out of the same plant with only the silkscreen vendor name changing. mine from tpms look identical to the ford units and I would bet money ford are not making their own.

amazing to me that ford linked with no help but the one I had to replace in my chevy truck(1 year newer than ford) required the purchase of a programming tool from amazon. dumb....

Americanmuscle.com is a mustang sight that has them. I got the metal ones that have o rings on each side that seal them. The metal ones require a few steps but they are reusable if you change rims or decide to get the rims powdercoated.

Discount tire (American tire the same ) I looked at AM, cj pony ,LMR ,LP and a few other online stores , all were within the same price +/- a few bucks for "the best" I wanted Metal , and didn't want a possible hick up with the TPMS purchasing online , while they were mounting up and after a year or two possibly having to send back for a replacement . I purchased from DT when they mounted /balanced my wheels and tires. About 249.00 , they did have the rubber TPMS as well for a lower price that's comparable to online. If anything happens within a few years replacement is free.

The rubber stems can be put on other rims just as easy as aluminum stems. Remove one screw and remove the sensor install the new stem on the new wheel and screw the sensor on to the new stem. At least the rubber stems never are subject to corotation from salt. If you change wheels, you should also change the rubber seals on the aluminum stems, they are not meant to be reused. I know that most people don't drive their Mustangs in the winter, but you can also get corotation from salt water as in coastal states. I have never had to replace TPMS sensors due to valve stem failure with rubber stems, but I have replaced many sensors with aluminum stems due to corotation.
