There is no way you loose 40 HP using 87 vs 91 or 93. My 2008 Bullitt is rated for 305 HP on 87 and 315 with 91 or 93. If it was more than 10-15 HP loss on the GT or the Eco boost I'd be really surprised.

87 here, DD V6 getting 30 MPG, drive 85 miles daily, most are around 65-75 MPH.
Runs just fine.

91 on all my ICE things including the lawn mower.
I just don't like ethanol.

It's about 40hp at mid rpm range vs 5hp at peak.

Turbocharged engines are much more sensitive to octane variation than mildly-tuned V8's. The PCM undoubtedly dials back boost as well as timing with 87.

As title states what octane do you use for DD?
My Mustang has been sitting with my parents for the better part of 3 months 9 I've been deployed or moving to NC from NV) and I will finally be able to drive my '16 GT daily.

Compression Ratio 11.0:1

You want to run 93 in a coyote. The compression ratio is 11:1.
