My friend got me this detail kit as a present. I use the bag to store my detail products and misc items. My dealer ordered the wrong cargo mat for my car. Its the one cut out for the subwoofer although my car didn't come with one. However, this detail bag fits perfectly in that location, it has velcro on the bottom so it sticks to the carpet. I can also fit my jumper cables behind the bag out of sight.

I don't consider it a heavy rubber material but I'm fairly certain its rubber and not plastic. Shipped in a long square tube with the mat rolled up like a poster.
