Whats going on guys, trying to see what mods out there are actually worth it.

As of right now im waiting on my Lund E85 tune. Not sold on a CAI seeing that debate going in another thread they dont seem to do much for these cars. Then again, another guy said that they pick up 20+ higher in the rpm's. LTH seem to be a stout choice, but then i have to debate on a full system or factory connect, and what brand to get. I seen that Corsa now has a set, any experience in here with those?
Aside from boost, not sure what bolt ons are worth it. Not trying to break the bank just yet as i am set on going turbo in the future, which makes me debate running LTH's for a while and sell them or not even mess with them yet.

Following, also interested in seeing if cold air is worth it. I was debating on just doing the velossa tech ram air and sound tube delete.

Do you care about stopping and handling, or just straight line speed? Serious question to figure out what you are looking to get out of the car.

I went stopping and handling first. Speed is next on the list.

I thought I was the only one who can't see signatures after the forum upgrade! I tried toggling the sigs off and on in the settings but to no avail.

e-85 worth it! I did very high 11.90 dead stock and 11.60's with jlt and corn so three tenths and 3-4 mph... no other mods on stock rubber...…..haven't been back with longtubes andcat delete but traction may be an issue now...I'm gonna work on weight reduction and traction after I get consistent with headers....

Have you seen any comparison between cat deletes and off-road headers? Wondering if the cat deletes give you most of the gains. Headers are a PITA to install and cost $$$. If I could get 75% of the gains for a quarter of the cost and time, I would be all in.

Had a "CAI" and ditched it. At this power level, hard to see much of a benefit. Lund pulled the stock panel filter out of the stock air box and gained 5-6 hp I believe, which was only about 3-4 less than the open hood dyno test of the JLT. Far more consistent temps with the stock box. Seems an E85 and trans tuning is the best bang for the buck initially. Maybe some M/T's to hold it. L/T's would appear to be the next step but I just cant get past all the changes that come with exhaust sound/volume. Resonated X pipe may be the solution but It has to be custom builty I believe and I'm just not ready to pull that trigger.

It should be way cheaper to just get an off the shelf x pipe and have some one weld in bullet resonators after the fact. Unless that is what you were talking about.
