I use to own a Dodge and broke down more often. Most of this stuff came from when I owned that car. We fixed things ourselves instead of calling for help. Irony is, my daily drive is only 5 miles from home.

I have a cardboard box with a small tool kit (in a blow molded case), jumper cables, a spare jacket, spare baseball hats, some nitrile gloves, the inflator kit (I bought a temp spare kit) and a blanket. In the summer the side tonneau covers are in there as well.

I'm inspired by these revelations, and will eventually submit some updates to my current arrangement: A pair of those Velcro™-stuck barriers to protect the amplifier and sub-woofer, and a bungee cord fastened between two of the (invisible) chassis holes below the rear light (window), with a hook, to stabilize plastic grocery and takeout bags over short runs.
