Hi everyone i currently have a x pipe my mustang and want it to be less raspy and deeper. I want something that will be louder than stock resonator but a little quieter and less raspier than an X pipe. Ive seen some aftermarket resonators but they all seem like they make the car quieter based off the sound clips. If anyone has an suggestion please share them!

I'm thinking that any resignator is going to quiet it down a good bit. Maybe go with a resignator, then a louder axleback or catback to get rid of the rasp, but still achieve the volume and tone you want.

That Borla switch fire sounds horrible to me. Its sounds way too tinny and high pitched.

Get a pair of bullet resonators from Vibrant, Dynomax, Corsa...etc
Agree- glasspacks take the edge off raspyness and deepen the tone- and in my case they didn't affect loudness very much.

Thank you all for your suggestions! If im still wanting there to be a little rasp and a little quieter than the x pipe would a resonator like the magnaflow tru x be good or just getting a H pipe be better?

:) I don't think it's possible to completely remove all the rasp from a Coyote, especially if you run an x-pipe. I went with H-pipe and glasspacks but WOT still sounds like shredding paper haha

The manglaflow tru x resonator worked great at eliminating all rasp and believe it or not made it deeper over a non-resonated h pipe.
I have the same resonator and I agree completely with this statement.

Borla Resonator did it for me. Has an internal H pipe, but glass packed. It worked like a charm on my GT with headers.
