OEM is the way to go. Relatively cheap, but good quality. The off-brand ones have proven to be poor quality; i.e., shatter. Depending on your car's height, you can plan to scrape and bump it from time to time, so you want it to be durable.
As others have said..quality over price. My 1st one was a GT350 R type. It was fiberglass...lasted 2 .5 years before it started showing signs of wear (small cracks ). That was on my 15. I paid $400 for that one and another $350 to paint and install. The 2nd one was an Anderson Composites carbon fiber one GT350R style .. That one was $800 but is holding up well.I installed myself. No need to paint. That one on my 19 is holding up well and no regrets so far.
I plan on keeping the ride for a while. I get attached to vehicle and when I get one I like unless it gets totaled I tend to keep them. I should have specified GT350 R wing. I like the look. I don't know though, I am torn between that and a duck tail type spoiler. do they come in gloss black or that textured black like the front splitter and what not. Bottom line if you can budget it I would go for a quality one especially if your keeping your ride for a few more years but if you plan on trading then go for the cheaper one, install it correctly and enjoy.
Thanks Bro. With the blue one it came primed gray but I had it painted gloss black. I have seen some guys go matte or flat black to match the trim.
