Just a question. I don’t know if I have seen anyone who has waited till the recommended mileage came up before changing their oil? Maybe something in the oil needs to break down to bond with the block? Just curios?

Just went over 3000 miles on mine, still on original oil, experiencing intermittent tick and rattle already.

My decel rattle is definitely my clutch. It didn't start until the day I picked it up after having to get it replaced due to a weak diaphragm spring. And, when I press in the clutch pedal in neutral, the rattle does not occur.

The tick though...that's a whole different ball of wax.
