Did a quick pollen removal, aired the tires, took my oldest for a cruise,
and stopped for gas.

Looks great as always Anthony. I don’t envy you trying to keep a black car clean during pollen season (or any season for that matter). They do look great after a fresh wash though!

Ran the full Foothills Parkway and the 129 Dragon today, warmed up the diff fluid. Happy to live nearby... lots of nice roads around here.

Deals Gap, "Tail of the Dragon". From here south is the Moonshiners Run. For today, this is my turnaround point, 40 miles back home.

Thank you Mark, yes it was good day with one of my sons enjoying the Mach. Wash time is coming,
Especially now that the weather is breaking a bit.

Honestly, like you I kept it in the box forever and just installed it a few weeks ago. At this point no leaks. If it leaks, I will let you guys know.
That is one of the advantages this expansion tank has compared to the Steeda one. You have to twist the cap million times to get it off to check the fluid level on the Steeda one.

With prices like that Ford is pricing themselves out of the market.
It's not about that. They're just providing options some people got from the aftermarket. Add full catalogue of Anderson Composite carbon fiber parts and carbon wheels etc. and Mach 1 will be lot more expensive too. No-one says you need that.

Haven't been posting here for a while because of winter... Didn't have much snow this year thouhg, so spring came earlier...
So I got it first washed...

Then installed the M1 HP Rear spoiler

And of course ... gave her what she deserves on the track...

Yeah, I know these are the winter tyres, but I hate those things, so I decided to give them hell for the money they cost...

Thank you for the compliment. It’s now “Shadow Black Pollen Pearl”.
If you enjoy your car don’t worry about the miles, I’m lucky to be in a position where multiple vehicles occupy this premises.
I had a Shadow Black Focus RS before getting the Mach 1. I completely understand 'Shadow Black Pollen Pearl.' I told myself no more black cars after that lol that car was perpetually dirty no matter how frequent I washed it.

It doesn’t solve a problem, it simply improves upon the stock shifter. It shortens the throw and makes for a much more affirmative shift thru all the gears. Factory isn’t bad at all, but the MGW is better. I also prefer the down and over reverse versus the pull up on the collar and over. Not many of the mods discussed on this forum solve a problem. If there was a true problem, Ford woukd have already addressed it on subsequent model year releases or by recall. Like just about every other mod it’s about incremental improvement over a factory part. Only the purchaser can determine if the juice is worth the squeeze. As an owner of a MGW equipped 6 spd Mach 1, I can unequivocally state that for ME it is. YMMV.
If you decide to go the MGW route let me know, you won’t regret it. I never installed mine. Been sitting in the box for 3 years 🤦🏻‍♂️
The MGW is amazing in these. Had them in my '04 Mach and '13 GT/CS and if there's a vehicle in the future that has the ability to have one - it'll also have one.

I agree, bought mine 6-8 months before receiving my car. It was only the second batch of the Gen 2

Sorry to say I will be leaving this forum soon. C8 is ready for Museum delivery on April 17th. Planning a nice ride home east from Bowling green to overnight in Knoxville then picking up the parkway working south to Clemson. Any must-do roads to drive?
Will miss all the great input and ideas in here it really has been most helpful and appreciated. Added a lot to my enjoyment of the Mach 1.
I wanted to tap in one more time by asking for input on selling my car. 2021, non HP, 9650 miles, 5 oil changes, garage kept no mods other than all the extras I picked up from looking in here. The sticker was $58,740, with Recaro leather. The car sat in the showroom for one year and went into service on 4-07-2022.
KBB has not changed much in the last 3 months $46,082 average pvt sale. Also if anyone has experience with any of the many forums to sell.
Thanks in advance and wish all of you well!

welp, took the Mach 1 in today to get PS4 tires put on; ended up they are tearing apart the rear end..

I noticed a faint noise in the rear end when letting off the gas, thought might by a synchro issue? dealer took a listen to it and agrees something isn’t right.. so here goes

Going from one badass vehicle to another. Congrats! My next move is going to be to a 911; after getting my wife's Cayenne I'm absolutely sold on Porsche. Probably gonna be a few years and after our next move, though the gears are in motion!

As far as pricing, I'm sad about how the Mach 1's are holding value similar to a GT, and for that reason, I'm not parting with mine yet. Not trying to make money, just not willing to lose as much. Times are strange though, and thankfully working itself out as it goes on.

Cheers and Happy times with the C8!

I'm in upper-east TN (2h from Knoxville) if you're over this way on 81 somehow.

When you say parkway, you mean the Foothills Parkway? Then the Dragon, Moonshiners and on south? That is gonna be an epic trip, beautiful roads and scenery, lots of cool places to stop and take a break. I'm just south of Knoxville, maybe I can escort ya little bit of the way.
