I love these shots, what camera/lens are you using?

I’ve love Eagle Talons. Those cars always seemed like a lot of fun, but unfortunately I’ve never been in one. I had an issue of Import Tuner magazine where they got an extra 100hp out of one with very little mods. Those are some cool cars!

Here was mine. I love the white btw, ironically SB was not my first choice. I wanted a white one but it sold before I got to the dealership. Blue was my second choice! Sometimes I flirt with the idea of getting another one (but keeping the mustang).

I spy a Focus RS. I traded my 2017 SB in for the Mach1. I have to say the focus RS has to be one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. I miss that car at times, unfortunately I found out it was totaled.

I believe Flood Ford or Granger Ford can offer you a warranty. You would have to give them a call for pricing and to confirm.

I had a Shadow Black Focus RS before getting the Mach 1. I completely understand 'Shadow Black Pollen Pearl.' I told myself no more black cars after that lol that car was perpetually dirty no matter how frequent I washed it.

Good point - I forgot about the track attack. I wonder how the GT500, Mach1 and now Dark Horse are standing to their "abuse" at the track attacks.

I wonder what ultimately led the 'Ford bean counters' to decide it wasn't worth warrantying engines that went to the track. They must have some data on track failure rates that we do not know about. The way I see it is that they're not standing behind the quality of their product. I understand...

Wouldn’t SCCA track nights count as HPDE? If not what would you say is the difference? It’s interesting to see that even between us there are various interpretations for what HPDE is. Some say it’s racing and others do not. Full disclosure, I am in the camp where HPDE is not racing.

This is not a personal attack or an attempt to start an argument from me. I am just curious, how would you explain racing vs HPDE?

I don’t think OP thought he bought an unbreakable car. If he did, why would he buy the ESP? If anything OP knows the car could break and bought the ESP as a form of insurance against those breaks.

This makes the situation even more frustrating. Ford has a definition in which they refer to racing in the context of motorsport, but the ESP cant use that definition? So the arbitrator uses "functioning at top speed," which has an example of "people racing for safety" & "mind was racing," not...
