I think all you have to do is go outside and do some donuts in the snow and post pics of your car. If the recall hasn't been done yet, the dealer can go read that code and evaluate the sensor.

So it turns out the elevation differential from where I bought the car to where I live is over the 1,500 foot threshold it takes to change the barometric pressure sensor tolerance. I needed to drive it about 100 miles for the ecu to reset and the code to go away.
