That's on my bucket list... for sure. I love the track days, but this is great also!Stunning day here in the Wasatch mountains of Utah. Cruised up Cascade Springs in Midway, then down the Alpine loop to the Sundance Resort. Colors were stunning. Ran up on a BMW M2 Comp, Porsche GT3RS, and Ferrari that got held up in traffic. So I followed behind. While a leisurely cruise, we turned a lot of heads. Not the cool track videos many of you post--but the drive and scenery today was spectacular.
Very nice. Fabric marker? If so how long did that take you?Color matched the interior stitching today.
Decided a while ago that I wanted to do the same thing and match the Recaro stitching with the blue stitching in my carbon steering wheel. Fabric marker and a few hours later, I was happy! That orange really pops with your car man!Took me a few hours with a fabric marker.
Thanks. Have the steering wheel snake overlay coming from Bemaro as well to help the wheel really stand out, but the stitching really pops in orange. Got the idea from a GT500 owner who did the same and it looks even better on a GT500 as the base threads in a GT500 seem to be more white than the silver/gray of the GT350.Decided a while ago that I wanted to do the same thing and match the Recaro stitching with the blue stitching in my carbon steering wheel. I donāt know if Iāve ever seen as low as 48 psi on my 350.
Yep, and the oil is only at 120F, so the oil pressure will go even lower if the oil was at 200+F at whatever engine RPM that photo was taken at.If the oil was hot and that was idle thatās not unusual.
Geeze man. I attain those oil temps by the time Iām out of my neighborhood. Then again, I donāt live in snow countryā¦.yet.I drove up to Milan Drag Way in Michigan to help a buddy with his āOutlaw 10.5ā Mustang.
Popped the Odometer to 13K on the way upā¦ā¦
Just got back from I drive and got the oil temperature up to about 180Ā°, stopped and saw that I was idling at about 50 psi. Funny, after nearly 5 years of ownership Iāve never noticed that. I typically only keep my eye on the oil pressure gauge upon start up and under load.If the oil was hot and that was idle thatās not unusual.
I was just parked with the engine at idle.I donāt know if Iāve ever seen as low as 48 psi on my 350.
