Got my car back after adding H/E and the full E85 fuel system to the Roush charger. Only had it a couple days but it smells like gas while driving and in the garage. Still have the factory cats. I'm assuming that's not normal and something I need to get checked out? I don't see any leaks and can't pinpoint anything but it certainly has a distinct odor. First time going E85 on anything so thought I'd ask. Thanks.

What kind of fuel lines were used with the new fuel system?

Should be the 6/8 lines included with the kit but I haven't actually seen them

He's asking because if the stock line is still in the car, it could be filled with gasoline and dripping/spilling/fuming. E85 (especially higher Ethanol contents don't really smell like gasoline, but have a much sweeter smell)

Ah now I understand, thanks guys. Assuming that's what I see tonight I can just let it evaporate and it'll resolve itself?

Seems like a fire hazard to me. Look against the firewall (in front of the Driver) and see if the OEM line is still in place. If so, you could use a compressor to force the fuel out, or a garden sprayer with rubbing alcohol to force the fuel out. The alcohol will evaporate. You would need to lift up the back seat and find the abandoned fuel line. Force the fuel towards the front of the car and put a hose on the firewall end of the OEM line to capture the gas. You dont want to spray it all over the engine, or the fuel tank
