I’m running 85 and I have a fore innovations dual fuel pumps. Since the install I noticed that a 1/4 tank means empty and I believe I’m getting 6MPG.

Anyone else’s gauge not accurate ?
How many MPG on E85 are you getting ?

I get about 13MPG on E 85 but I'm N/A. About a 50/50 split of city and highway and I usually do a 3/4 to full throttle pull getting on the highway every day. With you being boosted I don't think 6MPG is out of the ordinary. All comes down to how you drive, but I'm not sure.

I have noticed my miles till empty reading fluctuates. Best thing to do is fill up and track mileage manually.

6mpg is wrong. Period. Unless you taxi through the inner city stop light to stop light 60% of the time with a fairly heavy foot.

Im sure your fuel level indicator float in the tank is probably tweaked a little causing a skewed fuel level reading on the dash.

I’ll show you what it says now. I do mainly city driving but it’s so powerful that I really can’t punch it so I wouldn’t say I drive aggressively.

I've seen a tuned e85 gt500 get 6mpg, but with my N/A 5.0 on e85 I am getting like 11mpg.

The miles to empty looks correct as I see about the same when I’m at a full tank.

Ok so it’s 150 miles to empty at the 1/4 mark?

@Unas2k5 just to give you reference. Have you tried resetting the MPG and see where you land after that?

I think I am getting 6 gallons per mile.

But really, if a 1/4 tank is actually empty on your car, then your fuel level sensor is out of wack. It’s a common issue when dropping in new pumps.

Thank you! Yeah I’m just a tad higher than you in mpg. I’m just shy of 900 whp. I would definitely try resetting the mpg and go from there.

Is the mpg, dash reading still going off the formula for normal pump gas, meaning miles driven/fuel level seen in tank. e85 the fuel level is dropping faster than reg gas would and if the formula is expecting (for example) the car to get 85miles out of every 1/4 of the tank, and is reading half that.
I'd get a note pad and do the math and check it against what the dash reading is.
