It took Wengerd 7 tune revisions to get my Whipple Gen 5 dialed in. Engine is nothing fancy, just a Gen 5 with OPG's. This is far from a knock on Wengerd....rather a rebuttal to the "rubbish" comment.
Had Wengerd done one of those before? Probably not. My comment was directed at the large outfits who have done hundreds of these not being spot on (or damn close) from the word go. I was responding to the previous poster who thought it was reasonable and customary to have to go round and round with a well known tuner to get something passable on a 'nothing special' configuration.

Rubbish! Tuners who know what they are doing hit it on the head the first time out and use a datalog to confirm and make minor adjustments. There is ZERO excuse for large outfits who should have hundreds of previous setups upon which to draw to be off by more than a tiny bit, small enough that the end user would be hard-pressed to detect a problem.

You are somewhat correct on commons setups. Many times we get custom setups, turbo kits built by the owner and things like that and have to send a base file and datalog to get the tune where it needs to be with those parts. This is why many tuners don't do custom setups as they don't have the data for them.

On common setups yes usually the first tune is nearly perfect and datalog is used to confirm and issues on the car
Custom setups are on thing, but on "common" setups, I've personally witnessed IDENTICAL setups (car, mods etc) that reacted differently and ended up with different tunes to run their best. I'm assuming that happens with the Coyote platform as well?

Another thing that I don't think many people think about - some drivers just don't notice things that other drivers do. So more "particular" drivers might require more tuning revisions / tweaks that another driver would. I have to think that's pretty common.

Hell, a while back a friend of my neighbor moved his car (pretty much stock S550 GT) and I heard the rear axle / hub creak noise clear as day - so did my neighbor. The guy who drives that car every day never even noticed it until we pointed it out.

Not to mention a lot of "off the shelf tunes" seem to be tailored to making the most peak power - I can see that when you want to hit the track, but I'd love to have a tune tailored to power under the curve - where I drive my car every day, power I can use every day without risking losing my license...LOL...

100 percent right. Even identical setups often require significant changes from one car to another

Sounds like what you want is a power adder that suits your use…not a tune.

I've had FI cars before. I really don't want to go down that road with this car....at least yet.
Part of the reason is time - I just finished a year long rebuild on the 95 Bronco my son drives and my wife's '84 GMC K1500 short bed will into the shop for a frame off shortly. I've learned over the years, when I start taking a car / truck apart, it's really easy to lose focus when jumping to other projects.

The other reason? I like to hit the 1/4 mile track every now and again. I know if I end up going FI, I'm likely to be upgrading axles, clutch, etc etc............I've been down that road before.

I recently installed the Ford Performance pack for my '19 and I was impressed with the improvement it gave me in the low to mid RPM range - what I was looking for in the first place. Honestly, I think I might still go ahead and do 4.09 gears and be done with the car, from a performance standpoint, for a while. It's my daily.

Stafford raceway? er 14027 Royalls Mill Rd, Sumerduck, VA 22742-2030

Actually I live maybe two miles, as the crow flies from Richmond Dragway (Which apparently is now shut down for good - word was the owner is selling and when he bough the place originally, if sold by him it could never be utilized as a race track again).........

Now it will be Virginia Motorsports park - it's about 30 minutes away from me.

And being a little inpatient, I may add .
I as well was running PBD. I was one of Kens first customers when he jumped ship from Lund. That went well until he was overwhelmed with a one mans show and to many customers. Ken pissed a lot of guys off never getting revisions being buried in data logs. But he did what he needed to do and hired some guys to get caught up.
So I hired PBD a second time and all was well until what I saw a a tuner being burned out. Data logs not being looked over simple questions such as how much injector do I have left? Fueling good? A simple yes or no would of been sufficient. After talking with my other PBD tuned buddies they expressed the same frustrations. They as well switched tuning. I even asked if a revision payment would help to dial things in better reply I got was no not needed but the issues never got better. Then I blew a head gasket on 15 PSI and that told me enough is enough and made the decision to switch like my buds did. I chalk this up to tuner burnout turning lazy. I understand some PBD fan boys will defend their tuner and respect that but I knew I did the correct thing when I got with Wengerd. (So I do not think OP was being impatient.)

Daryle will have all customers feeling they are priority! During tuning process I was having issues loading tune at 10 at night! I had a event to go to the next day. He responded within minutes and walked me through everything!
^^^THIS is what we are all looking for!!^^^ The feeling I get is Daryle enjoys tuning.

What’s up y’all,

Just won a VMP Odín Kit from Stangmode on Tuesday. Crazy excited to pair it with my supporting suspension mods on my Roush -tuned ‘18 GT.

Talking with Alex (Zander13), I was referred to Wengerd as well. Hopefully, Daryl and the team can get my 18 GT/ A10 fast and reliable with a 91 or 93 tune. No E85 yet until I find a good place closer to me- SC isn’t the best for E85 fill ups lately.

Looks like I will need that RTD from Hp Tuners and 4 credits- is that right? Any mandatory supporting mods for the supercharger in the 88 mm pulley/ non E config?? Looking for a street/ occasional drag/ track setup.

I already have the Steeda Stop the Hop (Enthusiast) kit, Steeda Front Control Arms with the Tension Links, Ford Performance Street Lowering Springs ( non- magneride), good performance tires and Caster/Camber Plates for the springs.

its scar_5oh on IG for photos of what I am working with.
Love this community.

Congrats on the odin kit win. I would say upgrade your cooling mods. Vmp makes a nice engine bay ice tank for the odin kit.

Wengerd will not let you down!! I cannot express how happy I am with this car. After submitting payment to Wengerd on the 1st couple revisions I was like where has this guy been the past 5 years. I am so happy to be on board. You will not regret going with Wengerd.

I tried looking them up and all I found was a FaceBook page. Do they have a legit website?

I'll never understand the use of FB by businesses.
