Man that's shitty! I would be so mad, but would control my temper as accidents do happen, but to find out she was on her phone! I would have flipped! It would have taken all self control to not grab her phone and throw it as hard as I could straight Into the ground! And I throw pretty damn hard! Lol

Good luck with OEM parts...most insurance company policies will only pay for "Suitable" replacement parts. And they WON'T budge on this. If you want Ford original parts, you'll pay out of pocket.

You CAN demand OEM parts and get it. All you have to do in mention a lawyer and they will comply. I did the same thing when a woman (on the cell phone) pull out in front of me while I was driving my 2014 F150. She even had the nerve to get out and start cursing at me!!! WOW. I was less than 10 feet from her when she pulled out. The cops told her to shut up!! Anyway, I demanded OEM parts for my F150 and they didn't argue at all.

state farm is pretty easy to work with, I got rear ended in my old car by a driver with state farm. hope everything works out for you, sorry to see the situation, its always pretty disheartening.
