From what I read if you spray straight meth before the turbo it won't cause erosion of the turbo. Water is what causes it. Just what I readI bought a kit from Brent at Wannaspeed.com handmade for preturbo. He figures in all the variables to eliminate blade erosion and IC pooling. This particular car will, I predict, make exceptional use of this technique because of the little overworked turbo. I'll let you all know how it works in a couple weeks.
I researched it a lot bro and water isn't a problem if you use the correct nozzle and set up. I paid a pretty buck to get it right. We'll see. If you use a redneck set up, you may be in for some problems. From what I read if you spray straight meth before the turbo it won't cause erosion of the turbo. Water is what causes it. I laughed.
Yes, I found this to be very funny. Did I claim to be an expert? No. Can you learn this type of info by reading from other experts? Yes. Are you an expert? If so, offer some useful information. If not, shut it.
I can see where it probably wasn't all that funny to you.Yes, I found this to be very funny. Did I claim to be an expert? No. Can you learn this type of info by reading from other experts? Yes. Are you an expert? If so, offer some useful information. If not, shut it.
As Dill weed above pointed out, I'm no expert. What I've read from technical papers is that pre turbo injection adds benefit several ways. The one that holds the most interest for me now is that by cooling the turbo itself, it becomes more efficient-making it more efficient like a bigger turbo.frogger,
those that have done pre-turbo (correctly) got the desired results. work with a w/m knowledgeable tuner and datalog to make sure it's ok. EB 2.3 doesn't build boost ; it goes to full boost almost immediately at wot and stays there. So basically you're going to be spraying same amount at 3000rpm, 4k, 5k, 6k - You're the guinea pig here so you need to play with nozzle size and activation setpoint. it's been done before, it works. keep us updated.
