It depends on what you do with the car.Sorry for the noob question but what consequence could I expect to see from injecting pre intercooler? There seems to be a vast and varied opinion on the matter. I would think that moisture in the intercooler long term would be bad. I want to run meth primarily for aid in cleaning the head and cooling in my daily driver. HP and/or fuel economy gains are simply a plus.
I primarily road race it so before the intercooler is the way to go. I'm not concerned about pooling since I am running 100% methanol so it evaporates quickly. If I was doing 50/50 with water I could see pooling.
Also the injection system only runs when I'm over 5psi of boost so the air is moving.
Since it is your daily and you have concerns, inject after the intercooler or at the throttle body.
