Yeah, there's always someone faster and most people will only line up if they know something you don't these days. I just assume everyone is faster and go about my day..

Exactly. I have my base GT unmodified and like it that way as I'm not stressing anything on the engine and I love the great gas mileage. Besides, I love the look of the car with it's shape and color (as does so many friends who've seen it). I drive what I want the way I want and if someone wants a Korean rice burner or a Challenger, Camaro, whatever, that's up to them. I've always liked Fords though it's been decades since my last one in '71.

True. If we had unlimited funds I'd get a Mustang GTD not because it's worth $300K (I don't think it is) but because it'd be a very rare car that isn't a dime a dozen on the streets. Of course I'd never qualify in the application because I wouldn't use it like Ford would want it to be used.
