Im in a serious predicament and ready to take my car to the next level here soon..

Option A: I can stay Centrifugal and trade my Paxton in for a Vortech V7 JT blower thru vortech and it will be discounted to $2389... With that being said I believe I still would need headers and cat deletes to pick up noticable power with a centri setup so tack on a thousand or so... At this point id have over $7K in centri.

Option B: Hellion TT kit, Big boy power and torque... 55s or 62s?? Automatically deletes need for and aftermarket headers/ Cat deletes
Can get kit for $7800.

What to do...

This is an easy decision if it were me. Do the centri upgrade and put rest of the budget into the chassis suspension big and littles!!

You already make over 700hp is the chassis that needs help.

Thats just my 2 cents

Turbos will make more but obviously alot more cash too.

If you just want the 9 sec slip id do JT and address the other areas of the car and it would still cost less than the hellion coin.

Hellion if you want to have the real deal.....im prob biased though I've had 5 Hellion cars belts are for pants!!! lol

Besides the better power of turbos....whats cooler than popping the hood and seeing the 2 turbos sitting there way better than a supercharger!!!

I am in the same boat as you and upgrading head unit is simple but I am going to save money for turbos. After you sell your Paxton and put money you were going to buy headers with you will be close to turbo price. You might want to also prepare for a built short block at some point. Your car should go 9.8-9.9 as it sits in good air. I am hoping to get 9.6 out of mine on 3.48 and E-85.

Yeah, yeah, I hear ya. I don't know bout all that. I love the look of my supercharger. But I have to say, that's a H*LL of a nice set-up you have there. Looks real bad *ss. :headbang::cheers:

Stick with the centri. Low 9's on JT has been done several times. Block is the next issue.

Turbo will require boost controller and 2 step at a bare minimum. Also doesn't hellion require valve springs??

After low 9s 8 will be the goal.
