Currently running a paxton 2200sl 3.6 pulley, 2018 manifold, fore fuel system on E85. I'm trying to decide if I want to upgrade my current setup to a JT-B or go single turbo. Cost isn't really part of my decision since I already have my current kit sold if I decide to go turbo. Basic use of the car is weekend Mexico rolls and here soon some digs. Also forgot to mention I'm stg 3 mt82 car. Not interested in going twins.

jtb, you'll be back on the road sooner with more power then the paxton and a lot less money then the turbo...upgrade to 8 or ten rib if your on six rib..

The vortech Jtb is a badass blower ....

Definitely wouldn't go single turbo if you do a lot of roll racing.
HP tuners I believe is working on a table for antilag but nothing as of yet.
More power left on the table with turbo vs the Vortech

I had the same decision a few months ago. I wanted to do single too but it was way more work and no good kits out there. Basically you have to dump exhaust out fender or go custom which has its problems. I went with the hellion sleeper kit with 62-66 precision turbos. I am an auto car. I think u are better off going JTB with mt82

I absolutely love my single turbo setup and it spools instantly...
I'm running the BBR single system with Precision 7675 turbo

Antilag that uses backfire on exhaust side of exhaust valve can lift our exhaust valves slightly open. In a non clearance cylinder this can catch a valve. Would prolly up the valve springs before getting crazy with that since our valves are so freakn big.

You should upgrade the valves and valve springs regardless. PAC has a good set of springs for our cars. The tolerances between each spring is unreal. Ford has terrible quality control with them. That's why some people will see valve float at 800ish and then some can make over 1000 on stock springs with the exact same set ups.

Looks nice. Do you have any numbers at the strip? can you fit an air filter on it?
Just got the car back... raining today, so no track tonight... hopefully next Friday for test n tune.

Yes a filter can go on. I just wanted the Turbo Guard screen instead.

I am anxious to see how it performs. Running without a filter seems crazy but the reality is that most of us will blow the stock motor up before we wear them out from dirty air. Do you have a stall, E85, and boost level.
