My radar detector that is hooked up to the dome lights and shows voltage.

Was wondering if the voltage reported by the radar detector is accurate enough to be a reliable “gauge”?

Asking cause, the cluster reports a slightly different voltage.

If I can use the radars voltage then I can use another gauge on the digital cluster.

Sharing some photos that show the voltage difference where the radar shows 14.1V and the cluster 13.5V

Grab a DVOM and measure battery (well, charging) voltage with the car running. That will give you the best indication of which reading is the most accurate.
My WAG is the 14.1V is closest.
