Just want to say im running a cwa100-3 pump, vmp tripple pass dual fan, and straight distilled water with amsoil coolant boost with my gen3r blower. My Iats are awesome, 10 above ambient most of the time while cruising even in the desert, and recovers fast after sitting in traffic. I went from the bosch pump to the whipple pump to the cwa100-3 and the cwa 100 is not only more quiet, it flows noticeably more too.

Did you use the VMP harness for the IC pump?
Where did you mount the IC pump?

I did use the vmp harness for the pump, I just crimped the 100-3 pigtail onto the vmp harness. I hard mounted the pump to the side of the frame rail.

I thought the VMP harness was plug-and-play? It's 4-wire to 2-wire and plugs right into the pump.

not for the 100-3. There are different versions of this pump that have different plugs, there is a version that has the same plug as the cwa-50 that should be plug and play. Its hard to get your hands on these peirburg pumps, I came across this one and just made it work.

Well cr@p I have the Pierburg CWA100-2 and plugged the VMP harness (12" one) in for fitment.
I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

I have the VMP triple pass and the Whipple high flow pump. I’ve disconnected my fans and actually run a couple of degrees cooler than the Bosch pump with the fans. It also cools down quicker once moving as well. High flow pump is the way to go.
I have the VMP gen 3 setup with 3x pass HE, and trying to decide between the VMP upgrade one or Whipple high flow one for upgrading my stock Bosch pump.
Is the Whipple one a direct fit/plug & play?

I bought the small whip that can be used to go from the VMP harness directly to the Whipple pump. It does not use the same mounting bracket, but mine went in the same spot using the same holes. That is basically plug ‘n play, but to Ugstang’s point, it is not a direct drop in, no thinking replacement. Almost though.

If I may ask, where did you buy this small whip to connect to the Whipple pump?

I know this is old but I guess I need to change the orientation of my pump.
Mine was mounted with the impeller down.
