I did it just like NGOT8R described except I used an 18ā break over bar. You might need some heat, but you gotta be careful with that. Sorry it wasnāt as easy for you.
I bought the small whip that can be used to go from the VMP harness directly to the Whipple pump. It does not use the same mounting bracket, but mine went in the same spot using the same holes. That is basically plug ān play, but to Ugstangās point, it is not a direct drop in, no thinking...
Just the front belt and loosen FEAD bracket. You only have to loosen the bracket and remove the top right hand bolt above the water pump to snake the belt out. At least that how I remember it. Itās been a few months back now. Itās tight but I donāt think you have to pull anything else.
Iād buy...
I donāt think you are supposed to pair through your phoneās default Bluetooth settings. I think you are supposed to turn Bluetooth on, then open the app, and then pair from there. Not sure if that makes a difference or if you did it that way the first time. I would unpair and open the app to...
How
How did you pair it if it didnāt show up? I thought the pairing took place in the app by selecting the device. Was your VSS unplugged? Have you tried unpairing and starting over? I donāt have my car any more, or I would take a look at my app. Thatās all I could think of off the top of my head.
And yes the fans and IC pump are on the same line. It is non fused and runs through a set of relays. The wire that feeds the fans and pump are on a lug under the cover of the power distribution block in the engine bay, and this feeds through a relay that is controlled from another circuit that...
Yeah, from those numbers I would think Iām up in that 700+ range. Iām the same setup but catless longtubes and E85.
Those are strong numbers on both 93 and 100 octane.
Hello All,
I'm selling my favorite car before I die in it. I cannot seem to control myself and this car is just too much fun, so hopefully someone will buy this and appreciate all the work.

That makes more sense. I couldnāt figure that one out, but thatās still a good number. I know those auto guys are knocking down low 10s with our setup, but if I can ever make it to the track Iād be happy in the 10.5 range.
I donāt know Mike, but VMP is great. As for holding off on the Gen3.... I couldnāt have shown the restraint being that close. You have some really good self control.
Itās pretty gravy work, and straight forward. There arenāt really any tricks that I recall. You just remove a few bolts from each side, pop out the axels, remove four more bolts, and out it comes. A couple of hours worth of work to get it out, and anyone should be able to do it.
I am seeing identical results with the Whipple high flow pump, but I have the VMP triple pass with no fans running. Interesting that the triple pass doesnāt really make a difference. I see about 25 above ambient when running 70mph, and stop and go traffic is about 30 above ambient. I used to see...
I've got a similar experience. I am on E70 with a 79mm pulley on a VMP Gen2r... 1st gear generally sees up to 22 degrees, but 2nd, 3rd, etc. do not seem to see more than 15 degrees. I will get with my tuner, but thought I'd make a quick post here for thoughts. Iām currently stuck at the...
