Just got my replacement big mouth today. Its far bigger (very obvious to the naked eye) than the one I was originally sent and has "rev 2" molded onto it. I certainly wish there wasn't an error shipping me the wrong one the first time. I'm not really sure how that was even possible after comparing the 2, but accidents happen. That was 5 hours of frustration, a broken clip to my bumper cover, and unnecessary grinding to my current grill (to get the smaller one to fit) that shouldn't have occurred.

If you buy one, make sure it says "rev 2" on it, don't just trust you got the right one and go through what I did.

Got my new one today, thank you! It is definitely bigger and gloss as opposed to matte finish, I love it.

Well I am very confused. The Rev2 protrudes out farther than my first one. How in the hell does that provide more clearance to the backside of the grille? Something is amiss.

Comparing the old to the new it looks to me the new one will slide onto the air box snout further therefore creating more space between it and the grill. I have not tried to install it though so I am only guessing.

I had no issues installing the newly revised big mouth. I also chopped away at the grill to fit the original one though.

I just want to comment on Velossa Tech Design's excellent customer service and how great it is to have a company that offers such great innovative products!

Now I just have to build up the nerve to carve out some of the grill hexes

Seriously good customer service. My order was hung up in USPS's system and I didn't even realize it until Dan emailed me first to tell me it was stuck and he's going to look into it
