Maybe a stupid question, will it let in water or debris when driving in heavy rain?
You may have to clean your filter more often because there is more airflow being directed to your airbox.

Water or snow is not a problem since it gets captured by the filter.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Just wanted to share a Velossa Tech story. I had purchased a "big mouth" and also a new grill from Dusold Designs. Both seem to be quality products but the modification that Dusold needs to do for the adhesion of the mesh on their grill did not allow proper fitment of both products. One call to Velossa and they shipped out the Rev 2 version immediately. Terrific fitment now. Great customer service!

Finally got some time to install this guy. The front bumper is surprisingly easy to remove compared to past cars I've had, made this install really easy.

The big mouth fit like a charm as well, didn't have to mess with anything. Just shoved it in the opening as far in as it'll go and it lined up nicely with the shroud that the grill sits up against.

Also dremeled out more of the hex holes for a clean OEM look. Now there's just a little peek of yellow

Just installed my velossa big mouth last night. I originally had the mesh in the sides too but it pushed on the mesh too much and looked like crap that way. Think I like the sides open better, matches the bottom thats open.

Looks great with the yellow touches!

How did you go about removing the grill hexes?

This is what I did. Little more work because I took the bumper cover off but the outcome is far better in my opinion. Every hole is exactly the same and ZERO nicks to any of the honeycombs from the outside from accidentally hitting them with the dremel or file.

Do you have any pictures of the green? I mayyyy have to pick one of these up, mainly because I like the look, but potential airflow increases are a great bonus :D

The eco solution is the upper GT grille delete or aftermarket grille!

Sorry, off topic but who makes this grill?

Is there any way this item would fit the grill on my 2015 GT PP 50th Anniversary edition?
Hey buddy, it wont fit on a 50th anny grill nor the cali special. Just GT that has the fang.

By the way Jmeo that is a GENIUS idea, Why didnt I think of that.

Are there any fitment issues with the extra thickness taken off the grille?
I can only see that helping, that part of the grill actually gets closest to the big mouth. So removing it will open up the gap between the part/grill even further.

Thanks, that's the wonderful thing about a forum as good as this one. Lots of genius ideas from pretty inventive people and that's not to mention brilliant products like yours! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Dremel and sandpaper works well. Just take your time.
