This could be a problem. I drove the EB yesterday at that Ford event at the mall, they had a dozen of them. You could barely hear them at all, they were so quiet as they drove by picking up people and dropping them off that they could've been mistaken for electric cars.Thank you everybody for your replies. I drove a 14 v6 before I left and I liked it. I just have to decide whether I can deal with the Ecoboost exhaust.
Big Bang theory just talked about this tonight...lol.We're supposed to have flying cars next year.
Its a no brainer. For a "daily driver" the 3.7 V6 is the way to go. Its cost less, runs on regular 87 octane gas, and if your you choose the Convertible, you`ll save between 5K to 6K too!No I will be getting the base auto v6 or Eco. It's going to be my fun car so don't need all of the extra stuff.
Plus the EcoBoost gets the nifty Engine Noise Enhancement Chip that the V6 and V8 don`t get too!what kind of misinformed crap is this?!
The EB doesnt lose all its torque...it has the same amount with barely different delivery with a slight drop in peak hhp. Also the difference in premium and regular is $5 over a full tank, every time I calculate it. You shouldnt be buying new if $5/week (for example) will break your bank. The EB also comes with a little more standard even if your going for a base, including power passenger seat, 3.31 rear axle, and diamond mesh trim. brightens up the interior, looks a little more expensive
Finally, the EB will respond to mods WAAAY better. A tune on an EB will get massive HP gains compared to a V6 tune. You want a fun car, the EB is the way to go
He meant 304hp/342tq. 30hp over stock and 51ftlbs/tq with just one mod. :shocked:Ya, ecoboost FTW... Already at 295whp, 316tq :clap2:
