Used superchargers ?

I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules here. I dont mesn to if I am . But I'm asking If anyone knows where there is a site or place where you can go to find used superchargers ? I know this forum has its classifieds , however it doesnt seem to have much if any quantity ? Unless I've missed something

There are a lot of them on EBay. But, buying a used supercharger is a real crap shoot.

I don't see too big of a cost savings buying a used supercharger over a new one during a great sale. Edelbrock had one a few months back that was an absolutely killer deal.

I think it's fine, superchargers are usually pretty robust.

The only thing I'd be worried about is a centri that's been over spun because you can easily do that and can damage the gearbox. Especially on smaller centris because people spin them so high.

Even then, I think it's pretty safe. There's always a chance to get screwed buying anything new, just be aware of deals that are too good to be true.

It's a lot safer to buy a blower over a Turbo because the turbo operates in more extreme conditions.

If you don't find one used, let us know, we have some great deals on blowers. Just be careful buying used, like stated above, it can really be a toss up if you are getting a solid blower.

I got mine on here, 4500 for complete Procharger kit. Someone bought it and didn’t install it. Most of my car has been put together via used market.

Got a used kit off this website back in September, installed last weekend, kit was only missing a few bolts but it was in great shape, pretty pleased. You can definitely find some good deals out there.
