So, I've been out of Mustangs since my 2003 Cobra. I'm currently waiting for delivery of my 2015 GT and the wait ... is killing me!

On to the topic...

The coyote engine seems to be a very good platform from everything I have read so far, and given the upgrades to the internals (from Boss 302 prior) I wonder how much longevity/safety there is with adding a roots blower (think Eaton /ROUSH) and running low boost (4 to 6psi).

Just like to hear some of the folks who have more knowledge on the platform talk about reliability of a blown coyote rather than top HP numbers.

Could it be boosted to 500 easily and last nearly as long as stock?

550?

Thanks for any interesting info and/or speculation guys!

Easily can take on up to 10ish pounds and 600 whp safely with a good tune. After that, you'll get differing opinions. Depends on your motor and tune more than anything then. About that level you'll need to invest in biller oil pump gears.
