I ruined a front splitter 25 years ago and now do life time penance by backing into all spots, even my garage.

Indeed. I also back in every time. When you see the curb or white line meet your rear bumper in the reverse camera, you're a little over a foot away.

I go front first also at times, but I stop at my mental limit ... I am always one foot away.
