Not sure, but my Bullitt came with the B&O stereo and I can tell you that it’s not a great sounding stereo. I immediately upgraded mine and now it sounds like a stereo should. Unless you’re getting the B&O for free, I would suggest spending the money on aftermarket components instead.

Agreed, it is a name that Ford bought into. If you want a better sounding system, an easy approach is to replace each speaker with better quality.

I replaced the rears on my yellow R and the difference was noteworthy.

^^^^ This. The B&O sucks.

I upgraded the speakers in the doors and deck. Added a used OEM rear sub (pretty good actually) and an amp to drive it all properly and couldn't be happier with the results... all for under 1k$. Sounds great but not as good as the motor... so it stays off most of the time anyway. Good luck!

Agreed. I updated all of my speakers with infinity's. Sounds great. Plus I have a sub in the trunk with a custom box.

Yes, same here. The only issue (if it is one) is that the Infinity speakers are quite heavy. If weight is any concern at all, do your research. Some go to great means to cut weight from a vehicle (carbon fiber this and that) and various mods. These speakers will add weight. The OEM speakers are very light, but sound like crap.

B&O isn't great...but if you want to stick 100% OEM, it was def an improvement over the previous years.

B&O sucks. The base model stereo in my 17 F150 work truck sounds as good if not better. It’s even worse when compared to the Alpine in my 16 Ram. However, I don’t plan on any upgrades. I usually have it turned down so I can listen to that beautiful sound coming from the voodoo.

Ive got a 17 and wouldnt mind upgrading the speakers to get something a little better myself. I dont want to put a big sub in the trunk or have to run additional wiring etc. PLug and play aside from an adapter. I'll probably start with doing the rear deck speakers and maybe the door speakers and call it good.

Most of time its listening to the FPC, but if its on the highway in 6th, some better audio would be nice

Before even looking at that swap (doubt it can be done anyway), I would go aftermarket. You will get better quality and alot better sound.

It's possible I imagine but why?? GO price out what it would cost for the B&O and poke around crutchfield to see what you can get for same price and will sound much better
