I am looking to upgrade my factory sub with a 10" bandpass box. The sounds these boxes create with such little power is mind boggling.
I found two boxes I am interested in, made by Toby Speakers. Build quality is amazing and has a sound to match. Leaning towards the Low Sheriff.

Is there a way to separate the bass signal going to the woofer from the head unit? I had geeksquad install an amp / woofer in my 2012 but did not like how it was setup.
The midrange was way better when the bass was turned up a couple of clicks on the head unit. But doing so would make my subwoofer sound like garbage. No matter how much I adjusted the amp.
Anyone have any idea what went wrong?
