I have a 2017 Mustang GT Premium.
Over the months I have been researching an exhaust that isn't too loud, but has some 'grunt' to it when you put your foot down. At the same time, at 05:30 in the morning, I don't particularly want it to wake all the bloody neighbours.

Anyway, what does everyone think of these?

No experience with either. Exhaust is very subjective. Took me awhile to settle on what I wanted. I'm more then happy with my Corsa Sport Catback.

That being said listen to ALOT of video's lol. Also don't buy from AM at retail. A lot of vendors on this site will give you a much better deal especially around holidays. Happy Modding

As stated above, exhaust is extremely subjective. I prefer Corsa sports over almost anything else, but that is just me.
For cold air intake, we currently have PMAS 20% off, so that's the route I would take. Part# N-MT13-2.

If you are going to spend almost $400 on a intake why not look at the Ford Performance Power Pack 2? I recently had this put on and for a few hundred more you get not only the GT350 CAI but a Ford Performance tune that (if installed by Ford dealer) does not impact your warranty - I love the low end grunt it added and the no-lift-shift feature is a blast...

I was looking into the ARH catback for the same reason as you, I'm not looking to be "that" mustang owner with an exhaust so loud the police one county over can hear me coming

I'd also look into the borla S type and corsa sports.

I also second vernonator's comments about the PP stage 2 if you're looking to buy a CAI.

My neighbours son, has a 2016 Mustang GT, and Borla exhaust system. That thing is LOUD. I mean he barely touches the accelerator, and you can hear his car a mile off.

I only want a little additional 'growl'. Thus far, I have watched so many videos and listened to so many exhaust sounds, my head hurts. When it comes to exhausts, for as expensive as they are, I might end up just leaving well alone. Knowing me, it would all end rather badly, and I would be mad. This isn't like buying a holster for my gun, where I can try different makes and models. Ugh...

Alas, I might still look into a Cold Air Intake, without a tune. - don't need any engine issues (if they'd happen to arise).

The real benefit of the Cold Air Intake, is the additional Horse Power, no?

Ive got the MBRP street catback and it is exactly what you are describing. Its a bit deeper sounding and slightly louder, but not raspy at all. Its also one of the cheaper catbacks available too. Check out some sound clips on YT, but be mindful that nothing sounds exactly as a video displays.

If your concerned about an exhaust system thats too loud, you might want to check out Corsa touring or the MRT interceptor. Both of those provide a nice deep tone without being too loud.

Borla makes multiple systems, I bet he has the Borla Atak which is the loudest one they make.

I was thinking of doing an exhaust catback change out, instead I did a resonator delete H pipe and love it. Not loud or too quiet.

I'm very pleased with my Corsa Sport catback. Very nice tone and easy to adjust the volume with your right foot. Absolutely Zero drone and wife approved.

The Krona exhaust sounds great; honestly i'd recommend the gibson catback exhaust system and two of these clamps https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0043DL69E/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER since the only flaw with the gibson kit is the cheap clamps. I have a performance pack mustang with 3.73 gears and I know alot of people have mentioned drone with the gibson but I dont experience drone cruising at 70 or at 55 on the highway; so no issue for me. I also dont like to lug my car around so no real issue. I can tell you I have been stopped several times by mustang guys asking about my exhaust because it sounds unique and sporty; this occurs alot now with my kooks 1 3/4" long tube headers but also occurred before headers. Its not too loud at idle and sounds like a true sports car at full throttle and pops on deceleration. It still sounds sophisticated and not overwhelming with longtubes. If you go with Gibson, you, and your wallet will thank me.

Despite what others say, I too went with ford performance power pack 2 because I wanted to keep "warranty" when i was n/a. I am now procharged and the calibration with power pack 2 is not transferable and people wont pay much for the gt350 cold air intake and the gt350 throttle body is pretty useless since theres no real gains using it plus it comes with more headaches if you were to go with custom tuning. Further, if you live in hotter climates the inlet air temps suck real bad with most of those "Cold air intakes". if the intake piping is not in the bumper or properly sealed from the engine, its not a true cold air. just a couple things to think about.

I have the ARH catback you were thinking of. It has no rasp at higher RPMs and is basically a little louder than stock with a little deeper sound. Might be just what you're looking for.

Our Street Catback sounds like it could be just what you are looking for. It's just a hair louder than stock under normal driving/throttle, but with a much deeper tone. The way we design our mufflers allows them to be easily controllable with your right foot. Cruising is completely mellow, but then once you get in the throttle it really opens up!
